A Historic First: Touro College of Dental Medicine's Visit to Kibera Health Center of Hope and Mercy

Touro College of Dental Medicine is proud to announce its first visit to Kibera Health Center of Hope and Mercy.

Kibera Health Center is the only hospital of its kind: a combined medical, dental, and veterinary (zoonotic disease) facility located in the largest slum in Africa, serving a community of more than 1.5 million people in desperate need of health care.

During this visit, our team worked side by side with local partners to set up and demonstrate new dental equipment, bringing modern dental care to a community that has never had access to it before.
